Participants Needed:
Focus of the research: How do young adults with disability set and achieve their plans for adulthood?
Participation includes: (1) 10-15 minute survey over the phone or through email (Microsoft Word); (2) 2-3 hour interview (Remote: Skype); (3) 10-15 minute follow-up survey online or over the phone
All participation is voluntary. Some disability-related accommodations are available – please inquire.
Interview participants will receive a $10 Visa gift card.
Participants must: Have been diagnosed* with a disability* before age 18; be 25-36 years old; live in the US; be able to communicate experiences independently or with a translator or facilitator
*Participants do not have to agree with their diagnosis. Disability can include any physical, intellectual, cognitive, sensory, health, mental health, or multiple conditions that impact functioning. Participants can be, but do not have to be, their own guardian. If you are not your own guardian, your guardian will need to consent to your participation in this research study.
